Mother's Day Workshop - The Family Tree

Gather your loved ones—kids, grandkids, siblings, nieces, or nephews—and join ArtWorks East for our Mother’s Day workshops. Delve into the rich tapestry of your family’s history as we breathe new life into your family’s heirlooms and use them to create a “Family Tree”. This workshop is an opportunity to preserve, cherish, and pass down all those items sitting in storage while sharing the special memories attached to them.

Sign up in groups of 2-3 and bring your heirlooms or special items!

Items to bring:

 

   – doilies, napkins, handkerchiefs, scarves, knit baby booties/bonnets

   – old costume jewelry, broaches, pins

   – small knick-knacks

   – tie/boweties

   – cufflinks

   – any small personal belongings like snuff boxes, personal lighters, old watches, dice, matchboxes

   – sea shells, sea glass, small twigs/driftwood, stones/rocks/crystals

   -or anything else that may hold a memory!
